Set in the picturesque village of Gisburn with ivy-clad walls standing for nearly 400 years and a crackling fireplace welcoming guests since 1933, Stirk House offers contemporary luxury in a historic setting. Housing one of the largest function rooms in the area, we can accommodate the most extravagant of weddings of up to 250 people in our spectacular Ballroom, as well as more intimate weddings of up to 115 in our charming Gallery Suite. With the help of our dedicated Weddings & Events Team, each space can be customised to fit your chosen theme beautifully.

As well as 33 luxurious bedrooms and our on-site restaurant, Seasons, this 17th century manor house boasts an array of unique and elegant features. Delicate tealight holders glisten in The Conservatory amidst a spectacular ‘living-wall’ of seasonal colour-changing ivy that transcends the glass roof, allowing for an abundance of natural light. This ethereal part of the hotel preludes the walk down the aisle, a magical start to your wedding day.

The setting at Stirk House has been likened to a real-life fairy-tale, a wedding wonderland enabling couples and photographers the chance to capture some breath-taking memories of the day. The estate grounds include 22-acres of glorious Lancashire countryside, an ancient forest, colourful gardens and the impressive Stirk House Tree, a towering sycamore adorned in hundreds of fairy lights to the very top branch.
