It was no different when it came to adding Holmes Mill to the wedding portfolio, hand-picked and lovingly restored it truly is perfect for bringing your storyboard wedding to life. We appreciate brides and grooms really want to create their own unique wedding space, to truly be creative and to show their individuality as a couple.
The Function Room at Holmes Mill is something else. A blank canvas radiating with charm that ticks all of the boxes for a truly interesting wedding venue. Nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Clitheroe, it is part of an old textile mill that dates back to 1823. Keeping loyal to its industrial roots Holmes Mill’s Function Room bears all the natural textured walls, exposed beams and period character that you would expect from a building that has lasted the decades. With a few added extras to bring the venue to the modern day, you will find industrial inspired props, all beautifully framed using draped Edison bulbs adding further rustic accent to the historical feel of the space.
Also home to one of the original features of the Mill in the Engine Room, a cross-compound horizontal engine which has been renovated and lovingly restored, making for great picture opportunities.
The Function Room holds from 50 – 150 people, with enough space to source a live band or artist to match your taste and style! The Function Room also has its own private bar and facilities making it the perfect self-contained industrial chic space.
